Enlarged Thyroid with nodules what's going on?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here can help me out regarding what's going on with my thyroid. I went to my physician a few weeks back because I was not feeling well, having trouble swallowing and had a horse voice. Also, recently I have gained weight, lost a ton of hair, been really tired and had tingling extremities. I also have PCOS and all the women on my maternal side have hypothyroidism. My physician sent me for an ultrasound because my thyroid felt enlarged. Here are the results of my ultrasound
Clinical history: Thyromegaly, neck pain and swelling.

Findings: Grayscale and color Doppler imaging performed of thyroid. Thyroid
is diffusely enlarged. Right lobe measures 5.3 x 1.6 x 1.8 cm overall and
contains 6 mm hypoechoic nodule lower pole and adjacent 5 mm complex solid
and cystic nodule lower pole. Left lobe measures 5.1 x 1.8 x 1.7 cm overall
and contains 8 mm complex solid and cystic nodule midportion and adjacent
8 mm hyperechoic solid nodule midportion. Isthmus measures 4 mm in
thickness. No evidence of adenopathy.
Labs: TSH 1.050, T4 (Thyroxine) Free 1.29, Triiodothyronine Free 3.2,
Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) <6,
HDL 33, LDL 129
My physician tested for Hashimoto's and it came back negative. I am now being referred to an endocrinologist. Can any one help? What's going on with me?
