I am having posterior tibial tendon repair & transfer with a subtalor joint arthrodesis in a couple of weeks. I have checked out a couple of videos on the individual procedures. I am overweight and was wondering about a knee-walker. I talked to the nurse at my Dr's office and she said the Dr. usually sends you home on crutches. Does anyone have any recommendations?
