Problems in Adulthood resulting from organ system development issues

Hi,

I have spastic hemiplegia on the right side of my body. I have trouble using my right side for breathing, likely due to the chest wall not fully developing and causing my right lung to not reach full capacity.

Now I am also experiencing another kind of organ difficulty. I am 30 and for the past few years I have been experiencing chest pains and the occasional feeling as though my heart is dropping, like you would get dropping from the peak of a rollercoaster track. I have noticed that if I am dehydrated (which I can be easily, I need a lot of water) or have had some coffee without water on the side, my heart absolutely races. My diet could be better, but I exercise a lot and overall eat well except in times of stress. I am a healthy weight.

I know the effects of CP can change and get more challenging as time wears on. Maybe this has something to do with the effect of my left lung putting in more work. My parents are nurses so I'll ask my mom, but my family is generally dismissive about my conditions and symptoms and just think that I have to "deal with it" so I don't know how much they'll help.

I am wondering if maybe my heart did not develop as it should have, or if it is possibly aging prematurely due to the fact it is on my left side (strong side) and maybe getting overworked? Anyone else experiencing anything similar or have any ideas?

Thanks!
