TVT / TVTO Mesh Sling - complications

We are trying to find women who have experienced problems with their TVT/TVTO Sling Mesh, used for bladder problems/incontinence usually suffered after childbirth. This mesh is also used in hernia operations and pelvic organ prolapse. The MHRA claim that the problem rate is between 1 - 4% but we know it is in reality much, much higher. Added to the fact that there are only 2 surgeons in the UK that are experienced in removing this device, one of which has closed her books for NHS referrals as her waiting list is so long. We want TVT implants suspended until further investigations have been carried out, Scotland have already suspended this operations.

This campaign has only been running for 10 days and already it is getting the attention of the National media.
