[DISCUSSION] A Nifty Little Trick for Removal of Damaged Stickers!

This is just a little something I learned about 2 weeks ago from my mom. I went with her to our local flea market to pick up some Zords for my collection and one of the figures, an intermediate Astro Delta Megazord, had some really badly damaged stickers on it. When we got home, I figured "Oh I'll just peel these off and be done with it.", and the stickers were just giving me a heck of a way to go.

So mom noticed that I was having some difficulty and she says "Try using some butter.". At first, I'm asking myself "Why would I use butter? These are Zords, not toast!" but then I decided that stranger things have worked before. So I took just a small amount of butter and began to rub it onto the stickers and then wiped them off with a paper towel. What the trick is, is that the butter will actually loosen the stickers to the point where your fingernails will not be able to grip them (at first you might think they've become part of the design), but then they come right off, leaving no mess or residue behind. When I finished with my figure, the result was actually very lovely, as it looked like it was just brought home from the store!

I tried this as well just today with my Red Battlezord as the arm gauntlet stickers were completely destroyed, and not only did it get rid of the old stickers but it polished the chrome to the point where I can see my reflection! I know this is probably an extremely odd trick, but give it a try! The trick is to keep working at it, and don't give up when you don't get results. I assure you, it does take time, but it does work.

Hope this helps anyone who needs it!
