I mentioned in my Gokaiger vs Super Megaforce post (not that I expect you all to have been following along, haha) that I really didn't connect to Doc as a character and kind of found him to be useless and in the way much of the time. Sure, [SPOILER]he built the Galleon Buster, [/SPOILER]but other than that, what did he do? Seriously, what did he do? Even his miniscule backstory was lame. I love how they had no bounty on him, it was like the show didn't even care about him either, and the actor was even in on the joke, for which I give him a lot of credit because he acted for him quite well.
On the other hand, I loved Ahim and Gai, who was even introduced later than him!
I've seen some harbor similar dislike for Aisha and Trini, but I found always found them both to be likable and developed. At least they could fight! Doc was useless as a fighter. He was always on his ass or needing help.
Thoughts? Any other useless/underdeveloped characters on your mind?
