I recently started one of my Cluster Headaches cycles and my doctor prescribed Myprexa for the first time. I already started my usual regiment which is high dose (80 mg/day) and taper off until the verapamil I started kicks in. I never heard of Myprexa for cluster headache treatment before but my doctor said he spoke with a bigwig at Jefferson Headache Hospital and they suggested it. So, I did some research on the internet and it sounds like it has nasty side effects and did not see anything about it helping with cluster headaches. Also, I am Type 1 Diabetic and read that myprexa increases your sugar? Can anyone give me some advice or anything they might know about this.
