While many Power Ranger fans are aware that Thuy Trang , who played Trini the Yellow Ranger, sadly passed away in 2001, Audri Dubois, who played Trini in the pilot episode will instead be reprising the role. In addition to the six Power Rangers, Paul Schrier and Jason Narvy will return to reprise their roles as Bulk and Skull respectively. "Bulk and Skull are two of the most beloved characters from the original MMPR era, said Tony Oliver, teleplay writer for the reunion movie , "we wouldn't dream of doing this without them.
