I had four back surgeries last year. The third caused so many problems that the fourth was two days later to remove some hardware and move some screws. That left me with four rods and sixteen screws in my lower back. I can finally walk with a walker but have severe dropfoot on the left. I still have severe pain lying on my back.
This is my latest CAT Scan results:
IMPRESSION:
1. Postsurgical changes of fusion with instrumentation beginning at the T11 level extending inferiorly to the lumbar spine, inferior extent is not visualized on this thoracic spine CT. Transpedicular screws in the upper levels of fusion are without surrounding lucency to reflect loosening. Visualized portion of the instrumentation is intact.
2. Mild thoracolumbar levocurvature without listhesis, with moderate thoracic spondylosis that is worse in the mid to lower thoracic spine, detailed above. There are multiple levels with flattening of the anterior thecal sac with neuroforaminal stenosis of the lower thoracic spine.
3. Spinal canal stenosis in the visualized upper lumbar spine with neuroforaminal stenosis. This is better detailed on prior CT myelogram 1/16/2015.
4. No acute osseous abnormality of thoracic spine. There is mild chronic diffuse loss of vertebral body height from T5 through T12. No acute compression fracture.
5. Partial visualization of anterior cervical discectomy with fusion instrumentation in the mid to lower cervical spine extending to the C6 level.
7. Bone cement at L1.
8. Normal paravertebral soft tissues.
