[DISCUSSION] Language options for movies on Blu-ray and DVD

I hope this is the right place to post.

So I was going through my collection of movies on Blu-ray and noticed that while the majority of family films (I'm a big Disney geek and proud of it :P) have high quality Latin Spanish audio, I find that many other films such as horror films or action films completely lack a Latin Spanish audio track or have it in the lowest quality possible. For example, I really enjoyed Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns. When I had the Anthology set the only other audio available was French (safe to assume Canadian). Now with the individual Blu-ray releases I notice on the back of the box that they contain Castilian 5.1 and Latin 1.0 or 2.0. I have no problem whatsoever with Castilian Spanish as I can understand it just fine, it's just not the Spanish I'm used to speaking and hearing in everyday life. In fact I envy them for keeping profanities in their dubs LOL. Of all the horror movies I have only Friday the 13th has a Latin Spanish track. 5.1 I believe. I have a Nightmare on Elm Street and it has (exaggerates) every language but Spanish. Has French, Italian and German in addition to English. Why is it so hard to come across these and other films with additional language tracks, specifically Latin Spanish and why of such low quality? Can anyone help me figure it out? I mean I remember when Telemundo would show some of these movies in Spanish. Since I'm going to visit my family in Central America I couldn't help but wonder about this particular subject.

P.S. There aren't even subtitles in Spanish LOL
