NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR:

All of the events that take place in this work of fiction are non-canonical with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers TV Series, Hellraiser Film Franchise, DOOM Videogame Series or Friday The 13th movie series and therefore are purely fictional. There is no form of religious discussion, and there are no Christian themes to this whatsoever, aside from the main battles taking place in Hell, against demonic forces. There is no mention of God, Jesus Christ or any other religious characters such as Satan. However, the tone of the fanfiction is intended to be as dark as possible. Also, despite the film and game series the crossover elements come from, please note that there will be no detailed gore. There might be moments where evil characters are blown up or 'killed' and bleed, but there is no gore. The fiction itself takes place immediately after the events of the MMPR Episode "The Sound of Dischordia", the film Friday The 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan, the events of the second DOOM game, and the entire Hellraiser series. Please enjoy.

Thank you.

Introduction:

About a week has passed, since the destruction of Master Vile's monster, Dischordia, and the Power Rangers are in the middle of finally relaxing. At the Lunar Palace, however, Rita and Zedd are busying themselves with trying to find a new monster to take on the Rangers. And so, the story begins as the teens take off to Crystal Lake for their relaxation, but what they are about to learn, is that relaxation is not all that awaits them....

CHAPTER ONE: The Getaway.

Class had just let out at Angel Grove High School, and Rocky, Adam, Aisha and Billy made their way through the halls to clean out their lockers, as it had been a long week, and they had made plans with Tommy and Katherine. Not only did this event mark the beginning of the weekend, but also the beginning of the one most awaited thing in any young person's life......SUMMER! Before long, all six of them met up at the Juice Bar, where they sat at their usual table and discussed their plans that they had. "Well, I was thinking of taking up some part-time employment in order to achieve monetary compensation, so I would have a little more financial dispersement at my disposal" Billy said, in his typical textbook-speak. "In other words, BIlly wants to get a summer job" Aisha laughed. "Well, thats what I just said." BIlly chuckled, before taking a sip of his smoothie. "Yeah, well. Me and Kat were wondering if you guys wanted to go camping with us. We'll be gone for about a few weeks, but it'll be nice to be out in the great outdoors." Tommy said, leaning back in his seat. This definitely perked the interest of the other teens as they began to huddle closer.

"You know, a retreat would be nice." Adam said, resting his elbows on the table. "Yeah, especially since Zedd and Rita have been quiet lately" Rocky chimed in, but made sure to keep it in a whispered voice. After all, one of Zordon's rules was that nobody could know these six were the Power Rangers. Katherine stretched, and ran her fingers through her blonde hair, straightening it out a bit. "Well, I have to thank you all for being so supportive of my transition to Angel Grove, and I think that this trip could be the perfect way for us all to not just relax but become better friends. I was thinking if we left tomorrow morning, we could get a jump on things."she smiled. Within moments after Katherine was done speaking, Bulk and Skull came into the Juice Bar and went over to the counter. "Ernie, we need burgers and fries to go. Turns out that we got stuck with this stupid summer school." Bulk said in dismay, but his appetite was all too present. "Yeah, it sucks. I mean, we work with the Angel Grove Junior Police Academy! What will Lieutenant Stone say?! Also, can we get a couple of shakes?" Skull asked, taking a seat at the counter. "What will Lieutenant Stone say about what?" a voice asked from behind. The dimwitted duo turned, to face Lietenant Stone himself, who had just overheard their conversation and was not too thrilled. "You do realize that I will need you down at the Angel Grove Public Pool this summer, as lifeguards, right? And that you will be charged with the welfare of the fine citizens that go there to swim? And yet I'm just now learning about THIS?" he asked, slightly upset with the two of them.

Bulk quickly began to explain. "But sir, its not our fault! We've been running from monsters and putties all year round!" he whined. "I don't care what your excuse is Bulkmeier. Despite all of this, you and Skullovitch should have been studying! Now, if you two don't pass summer school, you'll be off the force....FOR GOOD!. Do I make myself clear?" he said, anger in his tone. Bulk and Skull looked to each other for a brief moment, before doing their usual when ordered by Stone. "SIR! YES SIR!" they shouted at the top of their lungs, sending him stumbling backwards into Ernie who happened to have their shakes, which landed right on top of Lieutenant Stone, covering his uniform, Skull, laughing and snorting away. Even more upset then ever, he pointed his finger at the would-be hyena, before shaking his head and getting up, storming out of the youth hangout. Bulk and Skull got their food from Ernie and headed out as well, the focus returning on the Rangers. "You know, those two will never learn..." Tommy laughed, starting to get up. "So, is it set for tomorrow?" he asked. Everyone nodded in agreement and left the Juice Bar, heading to their respective homes. Meanwhile, on the Lunar Palace, Zedd Rita have observed everything. "Ahh yes. The summertime. The time of a young person's life where they will either have the most fun ever, or they will endure the most horrific torment imaginable. I personally prefer the latter. HAHAHA!" Zedd cackled, as he walked over to his throne. "Zeddy, I want to go on a vacation!" Rita demanded as she followed him. "Well, my prickly pear, if we took a vacation, who would we leave in charge while we were away? Rito and Goldar?" he asked sarcastically, looking over to the two, who were engaged in some sort of an argument. "Give it back Goldar! Its mine I tell ya!" Rito whined, trying to get Goldar to return his sword. "For the last time, no Rito! I don't trust you with this thing" Goldar snarled. Apparently, Rito must have struck him on accident or something. "SILENCE, BOTH OF YOU! OR SO HELP ME I WILL SEND YOUR CARCASSES TO THE DARK DIMENSION FOR AN ETERNITY!" Zedd roared out, slamming his left fist into the armrest of his throne, energy crackling as it left him. Rito and Goldar immediately stopped their bickering and looked to Zedd.

"Now, apparently, the Power Rangers are going on a little camping trip. Goldar, Rito, I want you two to take a squad of Tengas and follow them tomorrow morning. Lets make certain that this is a trip they won't soon forget!" Lord Zedd laughed wickedly. The following morning, Rocky, Adam and Aisha met Tommy, Billy and Katherine at the Angel Grove Park. All six of them were clad in their best summer apparel and ready for some fun. The former three in Rocky's pickup and the latter in Katherine's convertible. "Well, did everyone get everything together?" Rocky questioned. "Yeah, we didn't pack any tents, since the place where we're going to will have cabins with electricity." Tommy explained. "But when we get into town, we'll need to get some food. I would suggest buying some now, but where we're going to have to take a plane for the first part of the trip and then get a rental car, I don't think it'd be good to take much food with us" she chuckled. "Well, what will we do about our cars?" Adam asked. "Since we don't have enough money for plane tickets between the six of us, I suggest we just drive it there. You know, make our own journey. Yeah we'll still have to pay for gas this way but at least we won't have to worry about leaving the vehicles behind." BIlly made the suggestion. "You know Billy, that sounds like the best plan yet!" Tommy chuckled as he leaned against Kat's car. Just then, the communicators went off and the Rangers looked around to make sure nobody would see or overhear anything before answering. "Zordon, this is Tommy, I read you." Tommy replied to the call. "Rangers, Alpha and I just wanted to wish you good luck on your journey. You have worked hard and you deserve the rest that is waiting for you. However, you need to be on your guard just in case Rita and Zedd attempt anything. I had Billy modify your communicators so that in the event its necessary, you will be able to teleport to the Command Center from your location. Know that Ninjor will be here in Angel Grove to protect the area in your absence and the Zords will be accessible through remote control. Now go and let the Power protect you." he spoke, before ending the transmission. Once the Rangers were finished speaking with Zordon, they boarded their vehicles. Rocky with Katherine and Aisha in his truck, Tommy, Adam and Billy in Kat's convertible, and they soon pulled out, Tommy leading them to their destination.

Once out on the road, the teens jammed out to some of their favorite music, the girls going over some ideas with Rocky for the cabins. Later that evening, while driving, Tommy took note that Adam had fallen asleep, after having been on the road for the first ten hours, feeling the effects of drowsiness starting to hit him as well, before he spoke in his communicator to Aisha. "Hey, how about we pull off somewhere and get some sleep? I'm starting to get a little tired and I don't wanna fall asleep at the wheel" he said, with Aisha seconding the motion. Soon, the teens pulled off at a local rest stop where they all slept in the vehicles until the next morning. Once the sun rose, everyone got up and went into the restrooms, changing their traveling clothes and meeting up at the vending machines. "So, you never did tell us Kat, where are we going exactly?" BIlly asked, as he bought himself a granola bar and a soda. "Well, we're heading to Crystal Lake. Its a wonderful little area, and they always get a lot of tourists. Don't ask how but I managed to get us a cabin out there" she said cheerily. "Wait, isn't that the place where weird things have happened?" Adam asked, starting to become a little unnerved. "Come on now, you know those are just stories" Kat laughed as she hurried out to the truck. "Yeah but...." is all Adam could get out before the others started to walk off. Taking note of everything from his Palace, Lord Zedd looked to Rita. "So, apparently 'strange' things have happened at this camp where the Rangers are going and the Black Ranger displays a certain level of fear.....perhaps we can use this to our advantage. Rito, Goldar, you are to head to Crystal Lake before the Power Rangers arrive! They will most likely be there in a matter of three days, possibly two, so you won't have much time. Search the area, see what you can find. And most importantly, don't get caught too soon!" Zedd commanded. "We shall go at once, my leige!" Golder replied as he bowed and then vanished in a fiery teleportation. Rito soon did the same, and the two arrived at the campsite within mere moments.

Upon their arrival, they found it was still daytime and that they were in the midst of the woods. "Alrighty then! Looks like Ed wants us to see what we can locate here!" Rito snickered. "First thing's first though. We need to find us a place to hide out so we don't end up being discovered!" he cackled, stepping through the leaves and roughage that surrounded them. Goldar just shook his head, muttering to himself about how Rito always managed to get Zedd's name wrong, using his sword to clear out some branches and vines along the way. "You know Rito, I don't say it enough to you, but I really hate being sent out to go along with you on these missions." Goldar mused. It gave him some sense of pride to insult Rito, and if he could do that while on this mission in particular, then his day was complete. "Oh shush Goldielocks. You know as well as I do that Ed wouldn't have sent us here for no reason!" "Right, but then again, he'd have sent you here for no reason as well, if he thought it'd help" Goldar retorted, before bursting out laughing. Soon, as the two explored the area, they came across a large, dug-up spot in the woods. "Hmmm.....I wonder what could be in here....." Rito mused as he kicked up some of the dirt, revealing a piece of wood underneath. "I say we dig whatever is under here up and see what it is!" he cackled, quickly using his sword to clear out the dirt as best as he could. Goldar, seeing no other alternative agreed and in minutes the two found what appeared to be a wooden casket, with the name Jason Voorhees written on its lid. "Hmmm.....nothin here but some dead guy. Eh well, at least we looked!" Rito shrugged, walking over to a log and taking a seat. "We didn't come all this way just to find one of your relatives, you know!" Goldar taunted.

Roughly, two and ahalf days had passed, and the Rangers finally came into the state of New Jersey, where they were greatly relieved. Looking over the map, Tommy suggested they stop at the nearest town close to the campsite and pick up some groceries, which they did. Chipping in their money they had saved over the school year from doing odd jobs around the neighborhood, they were able to pick up enough supplies to last them the entire duration of their stay, loading everything into the back of Rocky's pickup. Once loaded up, everyone drove up to the cabin in the woods. Rito overheard the sound of the vehicles approaching and quickly woke Goldar, who happened to be asleep. "Hey, we need to find a place to hide" he suggested, pointing to a cave in the distance. "Good thinking, bonehead! Lets go! "Goldar commented as they both retreated. Once they had arrived, Tommy went ahead of the team and opened up the cabin, checking it out on the inside. There were three large bedrooms, a giant den and living room, as well as a decent sized kitchen. They had definitely gotten the cabin meant for the camp counselors who would have normally gone there. Soon, another vehicle would pull up, and then two large buses, both with campers and counselors piling out. Children all too eager to start their trip and the festivities that awaited. Heading outside, Tommy met with one of the counselors, Michael, who seemed happy to meet someone other than the people he had brought. "So, how long are you all in?" Michaeal asked. "Well, we were thinking of staying here for the month, that way we get to see everything this place has to offer. By the way, I'm Tommy and its good to meet ya" he said, making sure to be polite. Soon, the others introduced themselves before unloading their bags and supplies.
