OK ! I'll have a mini review of a helmet I got from MMPR Helmet USA.
The summarised review would be...
1st Jan - Helmet ordered / he confirmed the payments on the same day
31st Jan - asked for updates
2nd Feb - he send pictures of helmet being bondoed and sanding process
1st March - asked for updates again
7th march - asked for updates again since there was no reply from him
8th March - sends me picture of helmet with base green colour painted.
1st April - asked for updates again
6th April - informed it will be send on 10th April
29th April - asked for confirmation as to whether he has send out helmet to me or not
30th april - was told helmet was returned back to him for some reason. he also asked
me my address again to confirm
20th may - asked him on what day he send out the helmets
25th may - never did answer my question but he was worried
about why my helmet didnt came through and offered to send another helmet. So i replied lets just give another week to see how it goes. I've asked whether there's any tracking number.
3rd june - there was no reply so i asked him again is there any tracking number and was inform he will send another with tracking number
june 23rd - asked for a shipping number
25th june - provide me shipping number and i find out he just sent out on 24th. (imagine if i didnt asked sooner, not so automatic but thats okay though shipping came fast). He also mentioned the last shipment package was found in Uganda ! dont know how it got there but I just hope he gots it back so it's not a total loss for him.
1st july - received my helmet. already clarified things with him. I've decided not to ship my helmet back cuz for a few pointers
- if its really the people on the shipping company spot check the package and played around with my helmet, then i guess there's no point sending back to mmpr helmet to get it repaired (he offered tho)
- i guess its just my bad luck for not receiving the 1st one thus this one is a bit rushed?
-theres a decent (not good) propmaker here that can restore my helmet for around USD150. really ex but that's the only choice i have and im going to stuck with it.
Sorry I'm not including a picture of the box since when it came, the box was really small(compared to the box that came with my abarekiller helmet). I didn't know it was the green helmet however its still opened with care of course and because i have few shipment of computer parts so i just assumed it's one of them. No fragile sticker so i guess people might have thrown all around.
anyway this is the helmet's condition that I've received.
PS: This post does not in any way mean harm to his business. I'm not actually gonna try to bring him down or anything. He has done his part in offering to repair and sending a 2nd helmet when the 1st one didnt get through. This is just a mere review.
