[OT] Will Science Fiction eventually become obsolete?

I was just thinking, what would happen if science and technology became so advanced that science fiction in general becomes a thing of the past. I mean think about it, if we could travel to other planets, meet aliens, get real superpowers, or maybe even travel though for real then just reading about it seems superfluous wouldn't it. As a comic book writer whose one of his main genre's is science fiction then I am genuinely afraid of this. Heck what would happen to stuff like Superman or tokusatsu if that happened?
