[POWER RANGERS] Zeo: Do you think another person should have been Gold Ranger?

I was thinking of this as I was watching Zeo a month or two ago, should there have been a new character to be the Gold Zeo Ranger? I love Jason(Austin St. John) and thought he did very well in the role, but I do get optimistic sometimes. I wonder sometimes how it would have been if Brad Hawkins would of taken the role after finishing VR Troopers. Maybe the Ryan Steele character moving to Angel Grove for work or something and being passed along the Gold Ranger power as choice by Trey. Or, what if Saban had the tale of two Tommys and had Tommy's brother, David, as the Gold Ranger?
