We all know the original rangers were goody goods to the extreme, always helping out charities and school functions and all that junk. I think this was done to appease parent groups. "See? Despite the fact that they use a lot of violence to solve their problems, they are excellent role models out of costume! :D " However, this overcompensation also meant that the Rangers (at times anyway) had little to no flaws, making them less relatable as characters. Not to mention they seem to be doing a lot of things all at once that no teenager could ever handle (fighting monsters in giant robots aside).
That being said, I do notice the "goody good" aspect of the rangers began to thankfully decrease as time as time went on. By the time we get to In Space, possibly the latter half of Turbo, it is all but gone.
Did this aspect of the Zordon era rangers ever bother you or just made you laugh at how ridiculous it was? Also, when did it start to decrease?
