Making this in case someone here knows me from other boards or elsewhere.
Umm,hi,I am Mefista.I liked Power Rangers when I was little, and watched some sentai,too,but was out of loop lately, until someone's comment on tumblr led me to Akibarangers, which proved to be much better than I thought, proving that it takes Japanese people to parody Japanese culture, otherwise you'll get stuff like this
[that's Hookocho from "Dexter's lab", and yes, it's a guy; design is nice for my tastes, but in no way suitable for a cartoon, especially giving how there is a closeup of his heels on-screen for good 5 seconds, and they show him full-size veery slowly...]
...I've got sidetracked.Ahem.
Either way,a lot stuff happened between PR and now, and I gonna watch everything,so notify me if something from newer SS/PR is better left undiscussed - I love spoilers, anyway, and better know it now than accidentally cause a flamewar later.
In general,I am ok person (though with slight mental health problems...),I love everything art-sy (I draw and write stuff myself, albeit poorly),music (rock,metal and electronic stuff, though my fave band is KISS) games (at times,mostly older ones) and books (fantasy/sci-fi,again,mostly older).While I like toku stuff,I mostly don't like anime.
For reasons unfatomable,nearly everything new I dislike ends being really popular (I jokingly call that "a hipster gene"), so sorry for hating on 75% of popular stuff.
Also,I am russian, and my english isn't the best, sorry for that.
