[POWER RANGERS] Ranger Keys - What's your explanation for them?

After watching Power of Six, I began questioning the Legendary Ranger Keys and their origins even more since Orion used the Robo Knight key as part of becoming Super Mega Gold. Since Super Megaforce aired in February, we have not gotten a concrete explanation of where the Ranger Keys came from or how they work. Yes, I know, "There's a simple explanation for that."

The episodes got further messed up because ever since Mega Mission, the walls in the command center have had the same keys lined up. These haven't changed. In recent episodes, we were shown full teams that weren't normally there, or 6th rangers in Silving Lining and Power of Six.

When trying to figure it out for myself, I keep coming back to the keys being replications of the actual powers. It would explain a lot of things like being able to use them, having Megaforce keys or being able to use a Robo Knight key. This made me think Gosei just had access to all ranger powers and copies of the powers around the universe, explaining the pre-zyu and Dairanger Legendary Ranger Modes. However, as we know, within the context of an anniversary for Power Rangers, this isn't the best thing without a better explanation.

That idea could work if the command center showed an extensive amount of keys and was explained as housing powers from everywhere. However, this raises issues that if each team has or had their powers, but the Super Megaforce have copies, then these teens are extremely overpowered, which people commented on in Gokaiger.

I'm just trying to find an explanation for how Gosei has these keys, why he has them and how they work. What are some other explanations or theories?
