[TOKU] Idea: Go–Busters for a remake of VR Troopers?

I just did a quick forum search for this and found nothing, so admins/mods, please feel free to close this thread if I've missed something.

Anyway, I've been thinking about this idea for awhile, and I was wondering if anyone else thinks that the footage from Go–Busters would work well for a modernized remake of VR Troopers? If you think about it, the aesthetic of the show is somewhat similar to the aesthetic used for VR Troopers, and assuming that it would be distributed in roughly 20–episode seasons, there would be enough material for two seasons of this hypothetical VR Troopers remake. Also, because the footage would be derived from Sentai, it would be possible for Saban Brands to work this modern VR Troopers series into the PR Universe, in turn allowing the show to ride PR's coattails if need be. Since the aesthetic of Go–Busters is just different enough from a typical PR season, Bandai could sell PR and VRT toys side–by–side on shelves, and Saban Brands would basically have another property to work with. I honestly think this could work, and it would be a great way to use all of that Go–Busters footage that's just sitting on the cutting room floor.

Obviously, there are some negatives that would need to be addressed as well. For starters, we all know that the Go–Busters toyline tanked miserably in Japan, but I honestly think that was the result of the Japanese toys lacking a gimmick, and the simple fact that the entire concept of Go–Busters seemed better suited for a western audience than an eastern one. The latter problem resolves itself by virtue of being a toyline for an adaptation, while the former problem could be easily remedied by Bandai America Inc. Given that Bandai America doesn't even use the Japanese molds for their PR toys anymore save for the occasional import release, they could just create an entirely new toy line to go with the adaptation, (which let's be honest, is essentially what they'd likely be doing anyway,) and given that this would be a VRT line and not a PR line, the expectation for a gimmick might not even be there in the first place.

The next issue would be the somewhat obvious question of "why do the VR Troopers have a Megazord," but that could easily be worked around as well. Saban Brands could cut the mecha footage, or they could do a team–up with PR early on and use an explanation along the lines of "Gosei gave the VR Toopers a megazord" to explain the mecha footage. (The transformation element probably precludes just treating it as another giant fighting robot as was done in Beetleborgs Metallix, but it's certainly possible that anything resembling a transformation sequence could be omitted if need be.)

Finally, there's the issue of PRDC/PRDS, and the supposed inclusion of "elements" from Go–Busters. Assuming that this is still in the cards, would people here be all right with said material either being modified or omitted if we were to receive a new VR Troopers series as a result? Please discuss. Personally, I think it would be interesting to see a contemporary attempt at VRT, and while it certainly wouldn't be the same as the original, I think it could be successful, and I think this could be a unique way to use the Go–Busters footage while not falling any further behind the Sentai with regards to PR adaptations. Additionally, I think this would be a good way to fill the vacuum left by the absence of Power Rider, and a nice way to bring some more Ameritoku to our screens, even if it's just a season of Sentai we might not otherwise see. Having said that, I wouldn't mind if elements of PRDC/PRDS were slightly revised to make this happen.
