[TOKU] Universes and Theories about Universes!!

So, this is an all around Toku dicussion about there being either just one big universe or multi-verse, or something. And by all around, I mean the Super Sentai series, Kamen Rider series, and Power Rangers series. Because those are the important ones.

So, to take from tv tropes about Super Sentai

Quote:

•The Multiverse: While it was suspected and widely believed for a long time, Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger: Ten Years After left Continuity Snarls involving Shurikenger and one of the villains that seems to have confirmed this. How it works:

◦Each team generally has their own universe.

◦Goranger and JAKQ share a universe between themselves along with Kamen Rider and Kikaider. Because Toqger is part of the Kamen Rider timeline in its crossover with Kamen Rider Gaim and involvment in the Heisei vs. Showa crossover movie it is likely part of this universe as well.

◦Denziman and Sun Vulcan share a universe between themselves; said universe is also where the Space Sheriff trilogy takes place. Due to the Space Sheriff crossover episodes with Go-Busters it is likely part of this universe as well.

◦The crossovers all exist in the same universe and, barring some changes, is basically combining all of the other universes. The events of Gokaiger happens in this universe.

◦Shinkenger takes place in an alternate Kamen Rider dimension as seen in the crossover episodes with Kamen Rider Decade.

◦Akibaranger heavily implies at the end of Season 2 that it is also part of the Super Sentai multiverse, but in a weird place.

◦There is a shared afterlife between every universe.

◦Finally, some seasons have multiverses of their own, such as Go-Onger (the eleven Braneworlds) and Akibaranger (the "real" world, Delusion World, and Saburo Hatte's World.)

That's just Super Sentai. And I expect all of us to talk about and most likely disgree on it being one big universe or many of them.

For Kamen Rider, post-Decade, the series has been trying to make one big shared universe, making the universe hoping Decade pulled retconed, sorta. So the Kamen Rider one is probably the easiest to agree upon.

And with Power Rangers, it's also obvious it's one big universe right? Well apperently not since there are a ton of people who believe otherwise (I found one great theory that this dude said, but I don't remember who he is), and JT (our favorite Head Runner of Power Rangers since Bruce Kalish) himself believes that the Disney seasons take place in their own universe or something. It's weird and stuff.

And I want everyone to talk about this. What do you believe? What theories do you have? Do you even care? Maybe you shouldn't, but you all must talk about it! Or not. No preasure.

I love you.
