I'am Red spd ranger,other than watching power rangers i'm a IT Developer working on building cloud computed applications of different business verticals including health,media,education and manufacturing. And in my spare time i'm a storywriter. I love writing stories. Its my passion. From the age of 8 i have written several stories containing about 12 adolescent aged kids which i have builit it on my own. I had also hosted a website with stories:katrinaharis.com with about 112 stories inside it. But i pulled it off because i could not take my time to write stories due to heavy work in IT Development. Hi this is the first i had written at the age of 8.The characters i'm describing are all fictional. The and city i'am describing is also fictional.
It was wonderful morning in Pally Town. Rita and Dennis were waiting in the restaurant for their friends to come.
Rita
How long I should wait. I'm very hungry and angry
Dennis
They' ill be here any minute, so I think we should wait for another five minutes.
While talking they heard horn sound. They turned and saw a Mercedes Benz car standing front of the restaurant. They saw a guard alighting from the front seat of the car and quickly opened the rear door. A boy got out.
Dennis
He may be a rich person
Rita
Aye its Haris
Dennis
That 's too much.
Haris came waving his hands looking at his friends and undisturbed he sat on the chair beside them.
Rita
Why you are coming in your car to the restaurant. Isn't that too much
Haris
Yes but my mother and my father advised me to go in the car with guard
While talking with Haris, Dennis was looking outside for his cousin sister Katrina who has not reached yet . There she was coming by her cycle. Katrina saw Dennis looking at her undisturbed. She smiled at him. Meanwhile she accidentally hit a dog that was led by its owner. She got down from her cycle and rushed to care the dog. But the owner of the dog said its okay.
Katrina
I'm very sorry about that. Can I help your dog reach the hospital.
Owner
Don't worry. He is okay.
Her friends were looking at her wide eyed. She took her cycle and park the cycle in front of the restaurant, locked it and took the key. She pushed the door and entered the restaurant.
Katrina
Hi folks !
But her friends were still looking at her wide eyed. Katrina was waiting for them to respond. But they were still looking at her.
Katrina
Hi guuuuuuyss She shouted loudly that all her friends fell down from their chairs. What's wrong with you guys?
Haris
We were shocked because you cared the dog for just a scratch. Its not even injury.
Katrina
She said one who is humane is real human otherwise he is not a human.
Rita
Can you please stop your conversation and order your foods. I'm very hungry and angry with all of you.
After little time later their known waiter came and asked how they are. They replied very fine in loud chorus,
Katrina
How is your job going?
Waiter
Its okay, said weakly. So tell me, what you want to eat today?
Haris
I will have sandwich.
Rita
I like to have burger.
Dennis
Fish nugget please
Katrina
I'd like to have noodles. (Looking to her friends) Don't touch your hands on the table. Its very dirty. And don't forget to wash your hands before eating.
Haris
We are all going to wash our hands. Are your coming, Rita ?
Rita
No
Haris
So why don't you call person to clean this table
Rita
okay
She didn't find any man to clean the table. She saw a child cleaning all the tables.
Rita
Aye boy, please come and clean this table. Clean all the dirty places.
Her friends returned after wash, as the child was about to finish cleaning the table. Katrina was shocked to see that a child is cleaning the table.
Katrina
Rita, why did you called this child to clean the table, you should have called a man
Rita
Katrina, what's wrong in calling child to clean the table and laughed as the child finished cleaning and went to clean another table.
Katrina
Yes its wrong. You know Rita if you were doing this job, you will know the problem
Haris
Its not a big problem and we have no rights to stop child working.
Katrina
Yes, we can stop this child from labouring.
Dennis
But we are children, remember that.
Katrina
Yes, but we can stop it. See, children are not less than the adults. They can stop.
As they turned while waiting impatiently for the waiter to serve ordered food, they saw few other children also working. Customers were threatening a child to clean the table well.
Haris
But let us wait Katrina. Its nothing wrong in waiting.
Katrina
(angrily) How about a year of waiting? You know, this is not acceptable. This is a serious matter, we have to care.
Suddenly they heard sound of slapping. They turned to look. They saw their known waiter had slapped child's cheek that turned pink. Every body gathered around the child. Katrina ran to see the child, pushing her way through the people gathered. She saw people shouting at the child as why he was careless enough to pour tea on a customer.
Katrina
(turning to the waiter) Why did you slap the child. He just pour the tea on the customers.
Customers
Who are you to enquire
Katrina
Who I'm is not important. Human should learn to be humane.
Katrina
(again turning to the waiter) So tell me why did you hit the child? Who are you to slap the child?
Waiter
I'm his father
Katrina
Are your not ashamed of yourself that you let your child to work in the restaurant.
Waiter
You don't know anything.
Katrina
Firstly you have to know a thing. You don't know about the child's heart.
Waiter
I could get more money, if he works.
Katrina
So money is bigger than your child.
Waiter
No isn't that
Katrina
Don't say anything. First, you should give him good education. When educated, they can earn you ten thousands of rupees instead of small money he can as a labourer. You should think about his future. If he stays labouring, his life will be wasted. Remember that.
Waiter
You are right. But you should also think about money.
Katrina
Okay but why are your bringing your child to labour in this restaurant is my question. I say child should not labour whatever problem may be. Your child should only go to school. Please let your child go to school. My parents will pay the fees.
While talking they heard somebody telling that my parents will also pay the fees. They turned their face to look. It was Haris.
Katrina
I know that you will definitely come.
Haris
I understand the problem. We should stop child from labouring. (Turning face to the waiter) Katrina is right, although she herself is child.
Waiter
Yes I done big mistake by bringing my son to work in this restaurant. And from now on I will never do that mistake. (Looking at his child) Go away son, you have nothing to do here. The childs' face turned happy .
Haris
(pointing to the child) Look at his face he is happy.
Waiter
Thank you children. I will send him to school.
Katrina
I'm sure that you send him right from tomorrow.
