I just finished watching this episode again for the first time in a long time and aside from the singing subplot it seemed like this was going to be part 1 of a finale. Gasket finally launched a full scale invansion on Angel Grove and made a powerful monster that took out both the SZM and RB. The rangers then got their asses handed to them by Gasket and Archerina. Clank attacked the zord bay and mentioned he was going to study the SZM to find the other zords weakneses and we got a cool fight with Jason and the cogs inside the bay. On top of that King Mondo returned at the end. Then after Jason used Pyramidas to destroy the monster everything just ended. No conclusion to the Gasket and Archerina fight they never rescued the SZM from Clank. Nothing. So I'm wondering. Does anyone know if this was intended to be part 1 of a finale or not?
