Now, in the constant debate of original vs replacement, we're always butting heads on which is better and one of the more controversial match ups is without a doubt Jason and Rocky. Now, I have nothing against Rocky but I must say he's my least favorite of the Mighty Morphin Rangers and Jason is my absolute favorite of the ten, so you know where I stand in the Jason vs Rocky debate. I'm gonna address a few things in points.
-Most people dislike Rocky simply because he's not the leader like Jason and that's stupid because the Red Ranger wasn't the leader anymore when he came on to the series.
-I've also noticed that most people dislike Rocky simply he's not Jason and some people like Rocky just because they dislike/hate Jason.
-I think this is really unfair but personally, Rocky would still be my least favorite ranger, no matter who he replaced.
-Now, here's the reason why I disliked Rocky in MMPR. Just bare with me.
-So yeah, that's my biggest problem with Rocky. He doesn't have much of a unique personality, I keep seeing the term "class clown" being tossed around a lot but I really don't understand where that's coming from.
-Also, according to the Power Rangers official website he's also very serious while still being a class clown.
-The closest thing he has to a personality is just being more extroverted compared to Adam.
-Throughout his Mighty Morphin tenure, Rocky was pretty much just a generic guy who was only there to shout It's Morphin Time every once in a while.
-Of course, all of these criticisms only apply to his Red Ranger days, he would go on to become a much better character and one of my favorite Blue Rangers in Zeo.
Overall, when it comes to MMPR and Red Rangers, I'm not a Rocky fan at all but I still think the reason why most people dislike him is completely idiotic. I don't dislike Rocky because he's not the leader or because he's not Jason. I dislike him because he has the generic and dull personality of a Disney Prince.

- Zack-Fun-loving life of the party and practical jokester
- Kim-Sweet and feminine Valley Girl
- Billy-Extremely intelligent and socially awkward nerd.
- Trini-Down to earth and environment conscious
- Jason-Strong, heroic leader and disciplined martial artist
- Tommy-Formerly evil and disciplined martial artist
- Adam-Shy and sensitive
- Aisha-Sass and attitude
- Rocky-Um......martial artist.
