[POWER RANGERS] EXCLUSIVE: Jason David Frank to return for Power Rangers Dino Charge!

Following on from their announcement that the 21st series of the long-running franchise Power Rangers airing in 2015 would be titled Dino Charge, Saban Brands and Elie Dekel have confirmed that none other than Legendary Ranger Tommy Oliver would be returning to act as the team's mentor as well as filling the role of the 'Legendary Silver Ranger'. "We've been working together with Jason David Frank in preparation for this announcement, and we feel the time is just right for this wonderful news to be announced." Dekel stated in a press release. "It is well known that Tommy Oliver is considered to be the greatest Ranger who has ever existed, and we feel assured that his return will help kids to connect to this series in the same way that they connected to the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series. Tommy has worn many Ranger colours over the years, and we're delighted to allow him to add Silver to his mantle". Dekel also confirmed more details, including more information in regards to the Red Ranger who, according to Dekel, will follow in the footsteps of his Legendary predessors. "The Red Ranger, Jay, is an adventurer at heart. Having travelled around the world exploring and learning, he is known for spreading excitement and fun wherever he goes. After befriending the Mighty Tyrannosaurus Zord, he is ready to lead the team as the Red Dino Ranger. He will surely be as loved by fans as much as the original Red Ranger was and I'm sure fans will connect with, especially when they learn who his father is". Dekel also confirmed other exciting information as he promised the show would harken back to the original series in a way that no other has. "I can confirm the theme tune will be a remix of the original and iconic Mighty Morphin Power Rangers theme tune. Also, just like in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, each Ranger has the ability to summon their own individual Dino Zords and can even combine them to form the powerful Mighty Megazord. In 1993, kids loved the original Megazord, but we know that today's viewers will love this new Megazord just as much, if not more." Power Rangers Dino Charge, starring Jason David Frank, is due to debut in 2015.
