Once you finish watching a season, how do you evaluate the season to see if you like it or not? Obviously there are some important points to go over, such as the storyline, character developments, etc, etc. But what other things do you include as well? Suit design? Morphing sequence? Good or bad villains? What else?
Here's some of my own ideas: Nostalgia factor and X-Factor.
The reason why I include nostalgia factor because while it's not the BEST way to rate a season, internally we tend to rate the seasons that we grew up with a little better than the other ones that we just saw. For example, I grew up watching Lightspeed Rescue so that season always has a place in my heart for myself. So I thought I might include this to let readers know how much nostalgia has affected the process of evaluating a season.
And as for the X-Factor, it could include something that's NOT really part of the guideline, but something that makes the season stands out on its own: such as Karone redeeming herself in Lost Galaxy or Lightspeed Rescue being the first TRUE standalone season and whatnot.
The reason why I asked this because I'm almost done with the Zordon Era and I'd like to rate/evaluate each season by breaking them down even further and rate the seasons as well.
I saw a nice guideline from another forum that could work for an evaluation, but I'd love to see if we could expand upon that list!
