[POWER RANGERS] Power Rangers In Space-Teen Titans

I'm doing this thing where I take a Power Rangers seasons and match with an animated series or maybe even a video game or comic book franchise Here are the rules I kinda set for myself. Each season gets a different series. If a series matches two separate seasons then I have to choose the season that fits better. And each rangers most get a counterpart, even if it's by default. As long as majority of the cast similar



I was gonna MMPR first but I decided to do favorite season, In Space and it's counterpart Teen Titans. The two series don't have similarities in terms of themes and story-lines. Both focus on five teens living in an environment away from society, Titans Tower and the Astro Megaship. They also have space travel, an alien/earthling romance and the unanswered question of "Why aren't these teenagers in school?". The real comparison comes in with the characters and their relationships they have with one another



Andros-Robin

• Serves as the team leader


• Stand outs from the team (one's an alien, the other has no powers)


• Somewhat distant from the rest of the team


• Refuses to accept help from others


• Very determined to find what they're passionate about (missing sister/finding Slade)


• Enjoys working alone despite previously working with a partner (Zhane and Batman)


• One half of a alien/human relationship


• Gets very jealous when other males come between him and his love interest

TJ-Cyborg

• Serves as the second in command


• Possess leadership qualities


• Was leader of another Ranger/Titan team (Turbo/Titans East)


• Laid back and easy going personality


• Provides plans and strategies in defeating villains


• Pro-athlete in an American sport (baseball/football)


• Of course, their appearance

Carlos-Beast Boy

• Loves playing video games


• Extremely athletic


• Closest friend is TJ/Cyborg


• Transformed into a monster and injured teammate

Ashley-Starfire

• Extremely attractive


• Strongest and fiercest fighter on the team IMO


• Perky, upbeat and cheerful personality


• One half of an alien/human relationship


• Very feminine but still rather tomboyish

Cassie-Raven

• Most unique in terms of style


• Sarcastic, clever and witty personality


• Tough exterior but very gentle and sensitive

Zhane-Speedy

• Cocky and smug personality


• Possesses similarities to the leader

I'll be doing comparisons for other season but given the restrictions I have for myself, some of them are gonna be broad and sometimes extremely flawed. Do you find these series to be similar?
