[POWER RANGERS] Wild West Rangers and Suit Templates

I just finished reading the 44 page thread speculating on the morphing grid Inn the archives. I loved it! Really is helping on a fanfic I am starting.

One discussion was about how Billy ' s Clone proved the suits had the morphed on the costume but how that was a suit design and not the functional morpher. Same for Kim when she was borrowing her powers when Kat stole her coin. So, I am trying to understand why the Wild West MMPR had no morpher. I assume the real world answer is the production crew for that particular episode actually thought ahead about Kim only giving those guys coins.

For the PRU, though, why weren't they given morphers? Wouldn't it be extremely dangerous, based on the thread I mentioned in my first sentence, for humans (without ANY training of ANYTHING martial arts related, let alone the mental prowess to understand the power they had) to use the coins without the morpher to regulate the grid tap? Why would Zordon not give them morphers? Would this be evidence Ninjor did NOT make the original morphers, and Zordon created them sometime after the WWMMPR? If so, why would he add the morphers to the suit template later on? What would there be to gain, after making the morphers, to add them to the suit design? In RoaOF, the rangers pull their *real* coin out and instantly demorph. Evil Billy, Tom as Green in RotGR, and Kim without the Crane Coin point to it being aesthetic.

I would really appreciate any help with this! I am trying to get a better understanding of the PRU and this has me stumped.
