Something I've been wondering about Power Rangers in Space lately. I know the Rangers did spend a considerable amount of time looking for Zordon, but it seems to me they spent just as much time protecting Angel Grove from monster attacks.
Given that the Zeo powers were still active, why didn't the Space Rangers simply contact the Zeo Rangers and ask them to protect Angel Grove and the rest of the planet in their absence? If they explained the situation, I'm sure the Zeo Rangers would have dropped whatever they were doing to defend the city once more.
This would have allowed the Space Rangers to fully focus their efforts on finding and rescuing Zordon while still leaving Earth protected. Yet as far as I know, the idea of it was never mentioned, let alone discussed.
Major plot hole, if you ask me.
