[POWER RANGERS] Why no black women in Power Rangers anymore?

I miss Katie. She was fun and brought a lot of overlooked emotion to Time Force. But after her run on the show there has not been a single African American woman in a power suit since. Power Rangers have done very well in showcasing the talents of people from all over the world and from many backgrounds. I recall hearing all the backlash about Max and how Ethan was supposedly created not just to be a black character, but a black character that had something to offer beyond just taking up space on the team.

Despite having done a fantastic job showcasing black men as heroic leaders and loyal friends, over ten years has passed and both Disney and Neo Saban have almost totally ignored having a black woman back on the show.

Sundai's comments on twitter for missing out on the Megaforce casting puts it out there plainly that something needs to change.

"I didn't make #Power Rangers.Said I was great but the already casted a black guy so they can't cast a black girl too WHY is race an issue??

Why is race an issue? Because race shouldn't be an issue for why you don't hire a person. If this isn't the reasoning behind there not being a black woman as a power ranger in all these years than I'd like to know what do you think is.
