The Mighty Morphin through Turbo days are well known for their constant lessons of the day: study hard, don't pollute, that stuff. But every now and again there would be an episode where the message would actually be totally messed up and falt out wrong.
For me the worst offender and reason. I made this thread in the first place was the episode 'Second Chance'. In the episode, Ernie holds soccer tryouts (because that's the sort of thing juice bar owner's do in their off time, I guess) and one kid doesn't make the team.
Instead of telling the kid, "Sorry, but you didn't make it this time. Practice hard and maybe you'll make it next time" he says, "I'll just do the whole thing over again to make this kid feel better in the hopes he'll make it" even though Ernie was the one who put the team together and decided not to put the kid, Roger, on the team in the first place.
And here's the thing: Roger sucked. Like, really, really sucked. They showed him practicing with Jason and Zack and he was absolutely horrible. He fell down every time he tried to kick the ball.
So this episodes told kids that if you don't get your way, you need to cry about it and hope that it will convince someone to give you what you want, even if you absolutely don't deserve it.
Good lesson Power Rangers!
What does everyone else think?
